This tour is a story of activists, change agents, community organizers, and of human forces that created, changed, and in many ways froze Greenwich Village.



This tour largely — but not exclusively — focuses on LGBTQ history in Greenwich Village, both the antecedents to and aftermath of Stonewall. But it also covers the Village's history from the Lenape to the present, including the efforts to preserve (for good and ill) the historic architecture and neighborhood character of the area.

(Approximately 90-120 minutes; $65 pp. Note: this tour can be combined with the Meatpacking District and Chelsea tour for a 150-minute tour for an additional $15.)
